Drakpa Gyatso
Drakpa Gyatso is 34, from Sakya Lhakhang Chenmo Monastery in Tibet. Drakpa speaks English, Nepali and Hindi. He studied religious rituals and philosophy in Tibet and also at Sakya College. Drakpa’s specialty is Tibetan grammar.
His goal is “to be a good monk with intact sets of the three vows”. Drakpa’s reason is that if he maintains his vows and fulfills his responsibilities, then his precious human life will not be wasted.
He wants to study English, primarily, and Mandarin secondarily.
“If I have the capacity, I’d like to help every living being, including animals.”
