Jamyang Paljor
Jamyang Paljor is 28 yrs. old from Nyiphuk monastery in Mustang, Nepal. He speaks Tibetan, Hindi, Nepali and English. Jamyang studied at Ngorpa rituals and philosophy at Ngor Monastery and Sakya College, India. His specialties are Pramana and Madhyamaka.
Jamyang’s goal is to become skilled in languages and to be able to translate important texts of the Sakya school. Jamyang believes, “these great Sakyapa masters did not write these texts only for Tibetans, they wrote for everybody, and it is now time to share them.”
He will study English and Mandarin. Jamyang says he likes to study, and therefore, he believes that whoever provides the means and the skills to him, he will never forget their kindness.
